Phil and Andrea were amazing from word go. I am a professional portrait photographer in the Illinois Valley area and when my daughter became engaged I knew immediately who I wanted to hire as the wedding day photographers. Andrea was helpful and so knowledgeable throughout the entire process. From planning the timeline to last-minute details she was right there with help. Phil is such a solid photographer. I know that weddings are a lot of work to shoot. So much can be thrown at you, in my daughter's case bad weather (a tornado warning and lots of rain), difficult lighting situations, and a tight Chicago timeline. With Phil and Andrea we were in capable, creative, knowledgeable, organized, and so talented hands. Thank you McConville Studio for capturing Claire and Max's wedding day so beautifully! Our October 2021 wedding went perfectly and I give almost all of the credit to Andrea and Phil. They take the time to really get to know you before the day and really make you feel like you’re their only clients. They are so organized and really know your whole day and how you want the order of events to go. They made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and keep you laughing the entire time. Andrea and Phil are a phenomenal duo to work with. We began working with them several months ago to plan our 50 person wedding, however plans changed due to COVID-19. They were extremely understanding and flexible. Once we were ready to plan our super intimate elopement (of just us), they helped us brainstorm and plan for our special day. We eloped at Starved Rock and hiked into St Louis Canyon to have our ceremony. Phil and Andrea were a blast to work with, they listened to what was important to us to have pictures of, and also made everything so seamless. We both were not that excited to take photos for a long period of time, but the McConvilles made the process fun and quick. They have a great eye for finding the right light and setting. Working with Phil and Andrea was one of the best parts of our wedding! Not only did we get amazing pictures but the day went so smoothly and they definitely had a heavy hand in that. My husband and I were planning our wedding from out of the state and Andrea's attention to detail and helpfulness was incredible. We are so glad we chose Phil and Andrea to be our photographers. They were great from start to finish.
